Helping orphaned children find hope.
Out of My Hands supports orphaned and vulnerable children in Afghanistan through Helping Hands Orphanage. We provide safe shelter, food, clothing, education, and daily care while working toward a future where every child has a loving home and a chance to grow.
Our Impact
Food & Nutrition
Currently, we provide basic food for the children in our care. We recently bought 350 chickens to provide fresh eggs for breakfast, which has helped lower ongoing costs. Our next goal is to purchase two dairy cows so the children can have fresh milk and more nutritious meals.
Education
Right now, we homeschool the children in our care and hope to build a small school on our property.
Safe Shelter
We currently have a small two-room home where six orphans live with a caretaker family. The remaining children are staying temporarily with five loving families in the community. Our goal is to build five family-style homes on our two and a half acres so every child can live together in a safe, stable environment.
